Our Investment in Aptivio
Riverside Acceleration Capital (RAC) is proud to announce our recent investment in Aptivio, a New York City-based company offering an artificial intelligence (AI) powered platform built to help sales and marketing teams reach the right prospects at the right time and place.
The world of business-to-business (B2B) selling has gotten increasingly competitive, creating an uphill battle to capture the attention of prospects likely exposed to dozens of cold emails and LinkedIn messages, and hundreds of banner ads every day. Even if a prospect does read a seller’s message, there are many variables that can make or break a pitch in seconds – is this contact the right persona, do they have budget authority, does the message resonate, is the message coming from the right sender?
Aptivio helps take the guesswork out by identifying which prospects are in-market for a solution and recommending a network path for engaging those AI-qualified accounts. The platform analyzes billions of buying signals to detect which companies have recently visited a competitor’s website or searched for keywords related to a company’s brand or product. It then aggregates account-level insights, such as the technologies used and recent key hires or job openings, to enable sellers to personalize their outreach. Finally, it leverages the extended network of a seller by analyzing their LinkedIn connections and database interactions to collaborate on opportunities with team members and external partners. And to top it off, the platform can integrate seamlessly with existing revenue tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Outreach.io.
The result is a data-driven approach to marketing and sales orchestration designed to help teams eliminate their opportunity blind spots, grab attention, and close more deals.
Aptivio originally piqued our interest because it addresses a question that we hear often from the companies we talk to: “How can I get more efficient and systematic with my sales and marketing?” It’s a question echoed not just across the world of B2B software but across nearly any industry going after new market segments (as demonstrated by Aptivio’s roster of customers, which includes Alvarez & Marsal, BNP Paribas, Capgemini, LexisNexis, and Michelin). We believe AI holds tremendous potential for revenue teams looking to accelerate their go-to-market, and we’re excited to partner with Aptivio as they seek to usher in a new era of selling.
